Labyrinths

Dave has a fascination for labyrinths as well as mazes. If you do not know the difference, you are not alone. Simply put, a labyrinth has no choices along a single path, and a maze has many. Labyrinths represent a spiritual journey while mazes are said to be frivolity. Yet it is the labyrinth that represents a visual metaphor to capture the majesty of the imagined maze.

Dave follows the traditions of ancient labyrinth design but uses them to create new labyrinths. Dave calls this Fun with Labyrinths. A-MAZE-D incorporates labyrinths into exhibits, though we can create an exhibit solely based upon the tradition, geometry, and creative possibilities of the labyrinth.
